SECURE YOUR COMPUTER AND MOBILE DEVICE…Security tips




This article was written specifically for those young computer guys that want to build their office online.  Here are some security tips that will help you in your quest to achieve your dream, this will prevents you from falling in the hands of bad guys.

It is advisable to use your own computer or mobile device when carrying out any transaction on the internet. Someone can track your online transaction details when you use their computer or mobile device. Have you heard about keylogger or keystroke logger, screen recorder, etc. with keylogger, you can store any keywords, webpages or email login details on your system. Some guys deliberately install keylogger on their computer system or someone else computer system to monitor the computer activities. Keylogger in very smart, it can send the activities through Email to the person that installed it. The guy will just configure it to send all the information about your system via email and that is all. Screen recorder will record all the activities as video file and when it’s being viewed by someone you are gone.

If you run an organization, you own a company or even personal stuff; it is advisable not to allow individuals to have the privilege to install applications or soft wares offline or online. If they do, the might install dangerous apps that might allow them have whatever they desire. Have you heard of an app called process suspender? This can “stop, pause or terminate” any running program on your computer. For example, camera software installed on a computer being used to monitor a place can be pause through an app. To prevent this or more advanced method from occurring, deny people installation access.

Finally,  don't be captivated by any mail informing you that you have won money or something else. If you receive any Email, check if the mail server is from a recognized company or sender. e.g mail from Google @gmial.com, mail from CNN NEWS @cnnnews.com, mail from United Nation @unitednation.org.
